Friends of Faith, Inc., a 501-c3 nonprofit charitable organization was founded in 1997 by the late Faith Fancher after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The organization is made up of members from many professions including media, business, medicine, religious and community groups and volunteers.

FOF is dedicated to fighting the breast cancer epidemic by providing funds to local organizations offering direct assistance to under-served and under-insured women with breast cancer. Since its inception, FOF has raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to individuals with breast cancer and for grassroots organizations. In 2003, FOF established the East Bay Breast Cancer Emergency Fund which provides financial assistance to pay expenses such as housing, food or utilities for low income women with breast cancer in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
